Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! We are making a valiant attempt to stay awake and welcome 2008. So far Laura and Brianna have given up. What is this sadistic tradition? We stay awake all night to welcome a day where everything is closed anyway, (except the overly busy stores trying to sell everything that got returned from Christmas for half off), football is on every tv station, and you spend every moment of the day trying to recuperate from the torture you put your poor body through!?!

I still have a few moments before I have to act on my resolution to be more positive. So here's one last dig...Eat right. Stay fit. Die anyway. What is the point? Ok, that's it. Time to implement the resolutions, I have to make it for at least 24 hours this year!! :)

Chuckles

A little girl stared questioningly at her grandfather.

Finally she asked, "Grandpa, were you on Noah's Ark?"

The grandfather replied with a slight chuckle. "Of course not."

Then girl asked, "Then how come you didn't drown?"

OK- So Brianna Got Caught!!!

This picture was sent to us by April and it reminds of Lauras' unfortunate eye incident. There were toys around the house and it was time to clean up.
Just as mom gave the clean up instructions, Laura gets poked in the eye. Mom says "Laura you need to help clean up. While holding her sore eye, Laura replies, "Clean up my toys, with my one eye???" "with my one eye" has become a sort of fill-in reply in our family.
Sorry Brianna, but this is a cute picture!!!

The First Post Came on Christmas Night

OK, So we have decided to get started into the present... So here we started a blog. It is our Hope that this can become a place where we can stay in touch.

Not that we are separated by vast distances, but rather that it might be a fun way to start a family Archive of the everyday.

The hope is that we can contribute regularly and we can have fun along the way.

Hope the girls in Warm and Sunny St George can spend some time typing and sharing too
